Relaxation Audio | Binaural Beats For Reliable Meditation

The wide selection of relaxation audio CDs and mp3s are mostly just soothing tones or music to help with your own meditation. If you are experienced, these might help, but for a lot of people, they won’t.

Binaural meditation solutions have been around since the nineteen seventies. By a process called entrainment, it can reliably put you into a calming meditative state without effort on your part.

Your brain produces various frequencies of electrical waves. In the range from fully conscious to sleeping without dreaming, the order is beta, alpha, theta and delta.

Each side of your brain produces all of these frequencies, all of the time but the strength of each signal depends on what activity you are engaged in. The aim of meditation is to reach the lower, more relaxed frequencies.

With traditional meditation, you can reach alpha and sometimes dip into theta but this takes long practice and is difficult to maintain. You also can’t tell what level you are at.

Binaural meditation uses two sounds, played through headphones into each ear. The brain resolves these sounds and produces a frequency which matches the difference between the two.

You put your headphones on and you are getting the benefits of deep meditation. You are free to think about your shopping list or whatever, knowing that it is working. The guesswork is taken out of it.

You can’t know subjectively if you are meditating, but with binaural beat relaxation audios, you don’t have to worry. This tried and tested technology means that you reach these deep meditation levels every time.
