When it comes to wooden sheds, until you have one of your own, you won’t know how valuable one can be. A shed is one of those things that you wonder how you got along without once you have one of your own. The simplest of sheds can be very versatile and every member of the family can benefit from its use.
Kids
We’ll begin with the kids. A wooden shed is just used for storage - right? Well, yes they commonly used for that purpose. But, if you use your imagination, there are all kinds of things you can do with a shed. For example, one can be converted into a playhouse. Just add brightly colored paints, cut in a couple of windows and you’re done. It doesn’t even need to be glassed in and I recommend that you don’t. Playhouses are great for both girls and boys.
Woman Of The House
Women that like to plant gardens can benefit greatly out in the garden by building a wooden shed right next to or right in it. Storing your garden tools or potting plants is what garden sheds are commonly used for. The biggest benefit, by far, is the close proximity to the garden so you won’t need to go back and forth to the garage every time you need a tool.
Mini retreats are also a wonderful conversion for wooden sheds. Set them up away from the main house for seclusion. Read a magazine and relax by adding a new chair or two. Sheds are also usually big enough to accommodate a couple of mats for yoga.
Man Of The House
Most sheds are used to store lawn equipment, which makes perfect sense. But for men, a shed can be turned into a woodworking shop or, better yet, a man cave. A true man cave requires electricity for a refrigerator and flat screen TV, of course.
Everyone in the Family
Your entire family can benefit from sheds as well. One of the ways, is to build one next to the pool (if you have one). This comes in handy as a pool cabana where you can store pool toys and supplies.
So, there you have it. These are just a few of the many ways you and your family can enjoy wooden sheds.
