Develop and Maintain Positive Relationships Immediately Using Only Four Ingredients

Posted on Sunday, October 30th, 2011 at 2:38 pm

People who live next door to each other seldom take the time to get to know each other. Or worst yet, co-workers go into the same building daily, and may even ride the same elevator, without even saying a word to each other. And this story goes on daily all across the land - different locations, same scenario! How much more rewarding life would be if people would only take a moment to greet each other and start to develop positive relationships!

Numerous distractions bombard individuals as they go through their daily lives like noise pollution, social melodrama, stress of daily commute, tedium of work, and a lot more. Life today is considered fast-paced because of a lot of new technological advancements, and therefore, people suffer from continuing stress. You can’t focus on your work effectively because your mind is already overloaded, uninspired, and burnt out. This results to a creativity block that can bring hopelessness to a person. But here’s the good news, there is a way to combat and cope with this kind of situation and that is through deep meditation music.

Descartes natural philosophy is different from what is taught in schools on two aspects. First, he rejected the corporeal substance analysis of forms and matters. Second, he rejected any appeal to natural or divine ends which explain natural phenomena. Even in Descartes theology, he insisted on God’s absolute freedom regarding creation.

Descartes is commonly regarded as a modern thinker who first provided philosophical frameworks of natural sciences. In his work Meditations on First Philosophy, he attempted to arrive at an original set of ideologies which can be accepted as true by anyone without doubts. He then employed methodological skepticism wherein he doubted any idea that appears to be doubtful just to create a solid foundation for authentic knowledge.

Initially, Rene Descartes had arrived to only one principle that thought exists. It is the main proof of existence because thoughts cannot be entirely separated from a person. In Meditations on First Philosophy, this is called as cogito ergo sum. Therefore, he concluded that he really exists.

Hint: To create an atmosphere of mutual respect, start by demonstrating in your words and actions respect for others, starting with your spouse and children. A good way to begin is to minimize the negative talk, in yourself and in others. Speak when the atmosphere is friendly. Your family member will be more apt to listen and respond in a friendly manner. Take what you have learned to the workplace and spread respect in similar manner there.Putting a Little Fun into Your Life

He further demonstrated the limitations of his senses through the Wax Argument. Descartes uses wax as an example, his senses has informed him about its specific characteristics including texture, shape, color, smell, and others. When the wax is brought towards the flame, these characteristics completely change. But still, it appears to be the same wax although his senses have already informed him that the characteristics are now different. So, for him to grasp the wax’s nature properly, he doesn’t use his senses instead he uses his mind. Thus what he thought he had seen with his eyes, he actually grasped it solely with his power of judgment that is in his mind.

If you’re suffering from extreme stress, or if you’re always unfocused, burnt out, and uninspired, it wouldn’t hurt to try meditation music. This is already accepted in our society today and many doctors are now recommending such therapy. If your medications seem to have no effect at all, then it would be best to start with music therapy. This is a very good form of meditation. It relaxes your mind, as well as your soul.

Online or offline, there are a lot of resources that you can use to help you in finding the perfect meditation music suited for your situation. Get family and friends to help, or even your officemates. Better yet, consult your doctor or a specialist who knows a great deal about meditation music. You will soon realize that you’re slowly recovering from your problems.

Traveling Is A Great Time To Find New Knitting Stores

Posted on Saturday, November 6th, 2010 at 7:46 am

Suzanna was in the Mercedes passenger seat, knitting away at a project with her knitting needles. She and her husband were on a road trip, traveling across the country. Along the way, she bought various yarns, piling the continuously growing load in the backseat. They were purchased from local knitting stores she and her passed during their travels.

The vacationing couple had seen the Space Needle, Grand Canyon, Great Salt Lake, open plains and big blue sky, Liberty Bell, Statue of Liberty, and White House. Yet these natural wonders and historical monuments held little interest for Suzanna. For seeing these sites did not meet the needs of her loved ones.

So she ordered her husband to stop by knitting stores during the trip at various towns and cities. While at the stores, she purchased supplies for her family designed knitting projects. Visiting the stores also gave her the feeling of being at home and a little excitement.

Imagine the local knitting store. Depending on the size of the city or town, the store could sell either dozens of yarn brands and colors or few. The store owner and employees may conduct classes, teaching new knitters how to knit socks, weave, spin, crochet, and various knitting techniques. They likely sell books, promote new knitting patterns and projects, and advertise beautifully constructed tools designed to weave and spin.

A store could be shabby and dull gray, or a gorgeously stained oak with green shutters. Either way, knitting storefronts cannot possibly resemble the coziness and friendly atmosphere found inside. Since they share a common interest with their customers in knitting, store employees gladly welcome their customers and tell them the latest fashions in knitting and knitting supplies presently out in the markets. Soon the customers feel at home, even if the store is located 995 miles from their house.

Imagine homemade knitting projects. Imagine countless designs covering the walls of stores across the nation. Along with running a store and selling yarn, knitting design books, spinning wheels, knitting and crochet needles, felting, and patterns, store owners delight in knitting. So they create hats, afghans, mittens, vests, socks, sweaters, blankets, purses, ponchos, slippers, scarves, stuffed animals, and all types of inventive projects. And they gladly tell the stories of their work if fellow knitters come and admire.

Knitters have the potential of creating lifelong friendships in socializing with knitting store employees, owners and fellow knitters all throughout the country. It merely requires interaction with people found in the stores. Speak about stories of tricky knitting designs, projects the pets or children destroyed, parties decorated with knitting designs and local knitting design markets. The lovely social experiences create pleasant memories as well as provide knitters with original outlooks on projects and materials and possible future project ideas.

When on a road trip, frequent local knitting stores in passing towns. Unite with fellow knitters and make friends, based on mutual interests in knitting, and introduce to each other new techniques and patterns. Doing so will broaden the horizons for every knitter.

So be sure that when you next great adventure to stop in and discover that hidden gem at the local Knitting Stores, and before you go check out our blog and learn to to your Knitting Into Cash and use your love for for creating beauty to help pay for your next great adventure. Happy Knitting!

Learning About Forgiveness

Posted on Thursday, July 15th, 2010 at 11:35 am

So what is forgiveness? Forgiveness happens when you let go of your anger, your negative thoughts as well as resentments towards someone who has done you wrong. When you forgive a person, you willingly decide to move forward and you see that person’s actions in a much broader context, rather than letting the actions define that individual.

Forgiveness is pretty much an internal process that does not require both parties to be involved with. You have to choice to either forgive somebody, or let it be. They don’t have to have the same mutual feeling, and it isn’t a two-way street.

Safety First Always

Sometimes, you might decide not to forgive a person in order to try and avoid meeting that person face-to-face. Meeting them in this manner could be hurtful and it is crucial that you protect yourself first.

Sometimes reconciliation might not be advisable. A good example of this is when someone is involved in some sort of domestic violence and he or she can’t seem to let go of feeling anger as well as vengeance towards the offending partner in the relationship. The only time you would want to forgive that person would be when he decides to make a change for the better and promises were demonstrates that he will no longer repeat the same hurtful actions ever again.

If you have been badly hurt and you’re still really upset about your current situation, get help. You can always find somebody they can help you sort out your feelings and to help you vent your frustrations. A good ear will help you decide whether or not you want to reconcile as well as forgive the person who has hurt you.

Is there something you’ve learned about yourself that you can take from this experience? Always try to learn from your mistakes and better yourself. Do you need to be more careful and not trust others quite so easily perhaps? Or maybe you just need to work on having clear boundaries and rebuilding your self-esteem.

Another way to relieve the tension and to know the way any anxiety as well as anger, is meditation. Meditation also promotes calmness as well as compassion, and there are many good books out there which delves into deeper details regarding this.

Finally, it always helps to find an experienced teacher who offer you support with any hurtful feelings that might crop up on you.

3 Vital Steps To Help Relief Sudden Stress

Posted on Thursday, June 24th, 2010 at 1:42 pm

Stress along other parts in our life may usually be under control. Yet there are unforeseen abrupt events that might radically shake our world. In such times even the smallest and simplest things are at risk of being exaggerated to monstrous proportions and might drown us in stress. Still keeping track of basic steps will make a big difference.

The two most common causes are injury and loss. With loss, even if it is sudden and unexpected, after a period of grief and mourning we usually moves on with life. With injury, on the other hand, it might take longer, involve more obstacles and have long term implications that might shake most, if not all, areas of our lives.

There is also very little that can be done beforehand to plan for dealing with an unexpected injury. Personal injury insurance payments may help financially but it still won’t help physically or emotionally. The unanticipated effect of injury can impact the lives of an entire family, not just the injured individual, and put stresses on their familial ties over a wide spectrum of aspects.

It is often said that we find out who our real friends are when we suffer a serious injury, and that is quite true. But it also places emotional, financial and time management stresses on a partner which can be the tipping point if a relationship is already in trouble.

Now, the foremost imperative thing to do is to clear the mist in our mind and organize our thinking. Take a look at the big picture. Notice what are the options for reducing the stress and the affects of the sudden injury on you as well as on all the parties involved. Look for substitute ways to lessen the event influence. You may become aware of more choices available as you start practicing this guideline.

The second thing but not less important is to look beyond yourself. By making allowances for the hardship that the others who supports us might face we start eliminating stress factors. Since consideration for others leads to less emotional stress, following this guideline will contribute to less resentment and fewer arguments.

Now, while physical healing is the end goal, remember to separate that from melancholy. May be you’ll be upset by the unexpected stress, but people find it easier to recover if worrying about how things are done, during the recovery period, is disregarded. One of the things you’re really going to love about putting aside worrying as an important factor in recovery process is the regaining feeling of self-power and self-control. You can give yourself the chance to make it work on your own pace. Can’t you?
